I Tweeted with Mitchell Landsberg

Twitter struck me initially as a useless curiosity but now I do see some value in it for me. The Hayfamzone Blog has reached its tentacles outward into new frontiers thanks to Twitter. Also, I like being able to directly and immediately contact certain artists or writers.

Last week after I wrote about Comic Book Hair I sent direct tweets to the authors of the article that had bothered me. Mitchell Landsberg of The Los Angeles Times was one of those authors. He tweeted back and  I found our tweet-conversation to be interesting:

@hayfamzone Hard to reply in tweet, but I think most readers got it. It was brightly colored and unnatural, like from an artist's palette.

@latlands Thx for yr reply. I just object to "comic book" as a pejorative adjective. "Comic Book" doesn't equate w/"outlandishly colored"...

@latlands The color of Holmes' hair reminds me of a color in Van Gogh's palette but it would be more of a challenge to fashion "VanGogh"...

After this tweet conversation had run its course I was very complimented to see that I am now being followed on Twitter by the  Los Angeles Times San Diego Bureau Chief!
