Almost Alex Toth

Artist Gigi Cavenago is now on my radar!

He hails from Italy and is the artist of The Magic Order volume 3. The fourth issue of that series came out last month and it contains something very noteworthy.

There is a 4-page story-within-the-story and Mr. Cavenago drew the 4-pager in the style of the great Alex Toth. Does he out-Toth Toth himself? Every fan would have to decide that for himself but the story is definitely a beautiful homage. Take a look!
