Jack Kirby's Fourth World in Black Adam?

 

I watched the Black Adam movie recently; it was just okay. Very nice to see Doctor Fate on screen though!

In the credits at the end of the film, credit and appreciation were given to Jack Kirby's Fourth World. Huh?

That puzzled me because I did not recall seeing any Kirby character anywhere in the movie. That's the reason for the question mark in the title of this article.

A little research was all it took the pull back the curtain. 

It's correct that no Kirby character was appeared, but a Kirby organization was referenced. The evil group known as Intergang was mentioned in Black Adam. Intergang dates back to Mr. Kirby's earliest issues of Jimmy Olsen in 1970. 

There you have it, one less mystery in the universe!
