The Return of Jack Staff by Paul Grist

 

 

I like the boldness of Paul Grist's artwork!

I told you about the beauty of his Mudman comic back in 2011, and last month the 30th-anniversary Image Comics series featured a new Jack Staff story in crisp black-and-white.

I feel that Grist pages lend themselves fabulously to color but I don't mind a bit if color is not in the plan of the day.

 

Crisp, indeed!
