The early 1970s represent my favorite period of The King's many masterful periods. This was when the gentleman returned to DC after a decade at Marvel Comics and so many dozens of amazing concepts leapt from his pen to the paper!

New Genesis and Apokolips! The Mountain of Judgment! The Source!

Apparently I'm not the only one immensely fond of The King's Bronze Age work because there is a podcast specifically devoted to it. The KirbyCast. There have been seven episodes so far, varying in length from about a half hour to about an hour, covering realms like Jimmy Olsen and The Newsboy Legion, and Spirit World, and Sandman.
