A Whisper of Silent Comics

 

A very nice comic book was released last week and I recommend it! Silent Tales is different from the rest of the comics on the stands.

Brazilian artist Gustavo Duarte has concocted six stories featuring six different DC characters for this one-shot oversized issue. Gustavo's art style tends toward the cartoony side, and the humorous stories are a great deal of fun.

I had seen Gustavo's nice artwork before in the Dear Justice League Young Adults graphic novel and in the Bizarro miniseries from a few years back, but it is his Silent Tales that will cause me to remember his name.
