Tiki Fin Fang Foom

 

Fin Fang Foom is a beloved monster created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby at Marvel Comics for 1961's Strange Tales #89. Do not be frightened by the destructiveness or put off by the trash-talking F.F.F.  displays in his debut cover shown above, he's a good egg at heart!

I am one of the many who have purchased the Fin Fang Foom mini-bust sculpted by Randy Bowen when that cold-cast statue was released a couple of decades back. (The bust was also produced in red but I own the more beautiful green version.)

Now our beloved dragon jumped up to a new and unforeseen plateau! Mondo is a company that specializes in collectibles relating to record albums and to comics and, for last month's Mondocon (held virtually and simultaneously with the San Diego Comicon (which was also held virtually this year)) they manufactured the Fin Fang Foom Tiki Mug!
