Buck Rogers by Frank Frazetta

 

 

Famous Funnies #215 was published in 1955. The cover featuring Buck Rogers was drawn by Frank Frazetta, and the printed version of the beautiful artwork appears above.

And here is a look at the original artwork (not in my personal collection, but thank you for asking!).

At some point after the publication of the comic book, Mr. Frazetta appears to have returned to the artwork and watercolored it himself, to stunning effect!
