Jack Kirby Liked Damon Runyon

Who is your favorite writer? Different people's answers to that question will, of course, vary wildly. William Shakespeare, Tom Clancy, Judy Blume, J.R.R. Tolkien, Jorge Luis Borges, and each of one million others would be some individual's response. Mine? For decades now I've proclaimed Damon Runyon as my favorite writer of all time. How pleased I was to read in an interview with Jack Kirby's son Neal that Mr. Kirby himself was quite fond of the craftsmanship of Mr. Runyon.
