Comic Foundry
I never saw one issue and I had never even heard of it before yesterday, but it seems that Comic Foundry was a pretty good magazine about comic books. It lasted four issues in and around 2008, and then it was gone.
But I have some good news for you! Their archive of interviews and stories remains accessible online! It looks like there are about one hundred articles in that archive, and I'll list a few so you can decide whether you want to investigate further for yourself:
- Neal Adams told readers how to be a successful artist.
- Mike Gold told what went on behind the scenes in 1988 with Action Comics Weekly.
- Allan Heinberg talked about his Young Avengers title.
- Klaus Janson gave the "ultimate" interview about inking.
- Joe Quesada described his job as editor-in-chief of Marvel Comics.
