Walt Simonson's artistic signature is designed to look like a dinosaur. He let this be known at the beginning of his career, back on the 1975 letters page of the Doctor Fate issue (#9) of 1st Issue Special. He likes dinosaurs. Who doesn't?

Well, now Mr. Simonson has at long last gotten the opportunity to draw Batman as a dinosaur!

An upcoming six-issue miniseries from DC Comics re-imagines all the members of the Justice League as dinosaurs. Jurassic League is the title and it sounds like a fun comic! Here is Mr. Simonson's variant cover for the first issue, featuring Dinosaur Batman fighting Dinosaur Joker!
