The Justice League stories that Brad Meltzer wrote in 2006 and 2007 were my favorites in that series since the run of Steve Englehart back in the late 1970s. Mr. Meltzer is a very successful novelist these days and a live promotional appearance of the gentleman at a bookstore was videotaped and recently aired on C-Span2/BookTV. Mr. Meltzer tweeted that the question-and-answer portion of his appearance was particularly wonderful, and I agree.
