Brian Bolland Draws the Cover

 

Brian Bolland has been drawing fabulous comic covers for over 40 years now. It's a less frequent occurrence now than previously so each one is anxiously awaited.

You might not have come across this latest cover by Mr. Bolland so I wanted to be sure to share it. The new drawing is not a comic book cover but rather the cover to a collection of a well-regarded newspaper strip. Carol Day by David Wright was printed in daily newspapers in the 1950s and a 1957 sequence from the strip is being accorded Artist Edition-type reproduction at the size of the original artwork.
