Wonder Woman Duds for Millionairesses

The actress Gwyneth Paltrow is now involved with the sale of clothing inspired by the costume of Wonder Woman. With sneakers costing $1075 and jackets at $7800, this apparel is not for everyone. (On the other hand, Ms. Paltrow's father Bruce was one of the guiding forces behind St. Elsewhere which was enjoyed by many in the 1980s and is one of my all-time favorite television shows.)

More details about the Wonder Woman clothing line and its prices can be found in this article.

Superman Has Some Advice

This site assumes that the above 1949 artwork is by Wayne Boring but I am 97% certain that it in fact is the handiwork of Win Mortimer. (I have written before about how underappreciated Mr. Mortimer is in the history of comics and I will continue to do so in the future as often as necessary.)

A Great Cover is Up for Bid

Of course I always liked Gil Kane's Green Lantern but it was a whole new ballgame when Neal Adams came to Oa in 1970.

Green Lantern/Green Arrow #76 was the beginning of the wonderful run written by Denny O'Neil and the above Adams cover to that issue is now up for bid on the Heritage Auction website.

With 8 days remaining, the bidding seems to have stalled at $200,000. What's your guess of where the auction will end?
